Labourer crushed to death as tractor-trolley overturns in Panchkula

A 42-year-old construction labourer was stabbed to death by his fellow workers following an argument in Akashavani Layout under the Sampigehalli police station limits on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Syed Mehboob. According to the police, Mehboob had been working with Kanika and Raju, as loaders of crushed stones into trucks.

On Saturday, a heated argument ensued among them over a trivial row, and in the melee, Kanika stabbed Mehboob with a knife. Both the accused fled the scene. By the time passers-by rushed him to the hospital, he was dead, the police said.
