Kim Sae-ron’s family shares ‘evidence’ of her 2016 chat with Kim Soo-hyun; slams him for lying, not apologising

The family has requested that the "criticism directed at them cease". A part of the statement read, "The reason the family initially had no choice but to disclose the fact that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor was to file a lawsuit against YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, who circulated false information, belittled, and mocked the late Kim Sae-ron, ultimately driving her to her death."

Sae-ron's family has slammed Soo-hyun for lying repeatedly about dating her when she was a minor. "However, what the family received in return was Kim Soo Hyun lying that he had never been in a relationship with her. Even after evidence proving their relationship was revealed, he did not offer a single word of apology. Instead, he is now lying again, stating that their relationship only began after she became an adult," it also read. The family said that they don't want "to engage in any further meaningless disputes over the truth".

They also claimed to provide evidence about Sae-ron and Soo-hyun's chats when she was a minor. The legal representative presented pictures of KakaoTalk messages allegedly between Sae-ron and Soo-hyun. The chat evidence was dated June 24, 2016, when a 15-year-old Sae-ron allegedly spoke about getting an IV drip at the hospital with Soo-hyun asking about her health. Over the next few days, they spoke about missing, kissing, and sleeping with each other. Soo-hyun was 28 at the time.
