Khabib Nurmagomedov removed from Frontier Airlines flight amid seating dispute

New Delhi: Former UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov removed from Frontier Airlines flight FL540 @HarryReidIntl in LV NV after a dispute with Frontier over seating re bin selection. Nurmagomedov, who labeled the “unfair” video of the incident has been widely shared on social media.

In an X (formerly known as Twitter) post on Monday, Mr Nurmagomedov told his side of the story.

“First of all, I need to clarify that it was @FlyFrontier not AlaskaAir. Lady who comes to me with questions was very rude from the very beginning, even though I speak very decent English and can understand everything and agreed to assist, she still insists on removing me from my seat,” he posted on X.

The spat originated when Mr. Nurmagomedov who was in an exit row got boarded by flight attendant asking him if he was able to offer assistance in case of emergency with his personal exit capabilities.
