Almost two years after the crime, a Kerala court on Friday convicted 24-year-old Greeshma, the prime accused in the Sharon Raj murder case. The quantum of punishment will be delivered on Saturday.
Sharon, a 23-year-old BSc Radiology student, was killed in a cold-blooded poisoning by his girlfriend, who reportedly used a pesticide-laden concoction to succeed in her motive in 2022.
The sessions court at Neyyattinkara in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram district acquitted Greeshma’s mother, Sindhu, but found her uncle, Nirmmalakumaran Nair, guilty of aiding and abetting the crime.
