Kejriwal arrested on instructions of Central govt: Sanjay Singh

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that the Opposition INDIA bloc will stage a protest against the "misuse" of investigation agencies in the Parliament premises on Monday.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Singh said that the INDIA bloc parties had a meeting at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's residence on Saturday over the issue of "misuse"of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and it was decided that they would stage a protest in the Parliament premises at 10.30 am on Monday.

He said that the CBI and the ED have filed "fake cases" against almost every Opposition leader, including Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, and Samajwadi Party chief and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav.
