Kantara 2 makers say death of junior artist did not occur on sets of Rishab Shetty film, offer condolences to his family

Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 was a big hit and it won hearts. His performance in the film proved that he is one of the best actors in the entertainment industry. He also won the National Award for his performance. After the big success of the film, everyone has been waiting for the second part. The shooting of the second film is happening and yesterday, a tragic incident took place on the sets.

A junior artist named M.F. Kapil drowned in the Souparnika River near Kollur. He had reportedly gone to swim during his lunch break but was caught in a strong current and swept away. The search operation was going on and the body was found in the evening. M.F. Kapil reportedly slipped and fell in the river.

He was a resident of Moosarithara, Palliprathussery, on Vaikom TV Puram Road in Kerala. There have been reports that he died on the sets of the film. Many news reports spoke about Kapil dying on the sets. Now, the makers of the film have issued a clarification.
