A junior artist named M.F. Kapil drowned in the Souparnika River near Kollur. He had reportedly gone to swim during his lunch break but was caught in a strong current and swept away. The search operation was going on and the body was found in the evening. M.F. Kapil reportedly slipped and fell in the river.
He was a resident of Moosarithara, Palliprathussery, on Vaikom TV Puram Road in Kerala. There have been reports that he died on the sets of the film. Many news reports spoke about Kapil dying on the sets. Now, the makers of the film have issued a clarification.
