Kanpur Doctor Detained Over Suspected Links With Shaheen Saeed, Arrested In Terror Module

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has detained a doctor from Kanpur for questioning over suspected links with Dr Shaheen Saeed, the woman arrested in connection with the November 10 Delhi blast that killed 13 people and left several others injured near the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi.

According to sources, the Kanpur-based doctor was reportedly in contact with Dr Shaheen and is currently being interrogated by the ATS.

Investigators have learned that Shaheen visited Lucknow and Kanpur in August, and agencies are now tracking her movements during the visit, including details of where she travelled and whom she met.
