Recently, a female social media influencer has become a topic of the town after she launched an unusual crowdfunding campaign, asking her followers to donate money so that she can buy Apple’s newly launched iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Mahi Singh, who hails from Uttar Pradesh’ and calls herself the “Beauty Queen of Lakhimpur,” recently posted a clip of her requesting Rs 1 or Rs 2 from her followers. She launched this crowdfunding not for a social cause but to afford the Apple smartphone, which retails at around Rs 1.49 lakh in India.

Revealing the reason behind the campaign, Mahi explained that her father refused to buy her iPhone 17 as he had already gifted her iPhone 16.
