India sent nearly 15 tonnes of relief material to Myanmar, which was jolted by two devastating earthquakes on Friday. This comes as Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed anguish over the quakes and offered assistance to the neighbouring country.
An IndianIndianIndian Air Force C-130J aircraft transported the aid from the Hindon air force station.
India has sent relief packages containing essential supplies such as tents, sleeping bags, blankets, ready-to-eat meals, generator sets, water purifiers, hygiene kits, and solar lamps, among others.
Among medical supplies, India is dispatching paracetamol, antibiotics, syringes, gloves, and bandages to assist those affected by the disaster.
