5.0 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal, tremors felt across North India

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale struck Nepal on Friday, even as light tremors were felt across parts of Northern India. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake struck at a depth of 20km at 7.52pm (local time), ANI reported.
