Govt approves 3 semiconductor units in India, Tata to set up 2

The Union Cabinet has approved the setting up of three semiconductor units in Gujarat and Assam. Tata Electronics and PSMC will establish a fab in Dholera, Gujarat, while TSAT semiconductor will set up a unit in Morigaon, Assam. Renesas will partner with CG Power in Sanand, Gujarat. Micron's unit is also under construction in Sanand.
