Two robotics teams of Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS), Team Matrix and Team Eureka have achieved a milestone by reaching the global finals and competing against each other in an all-DAIS Grand Final at the 2025 FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship in Houston.
This is the first time an Indian team has won the FTC World Championship, placing India firmly on the global STEM map, said an official statement.
The event was organized by FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), and was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Over 50,000 attendees participated in it from 256 elite teams representing more than 30 countries worldwide.
