The Bharatiya Kisan Union has stated that farmers will sit on railway tracks at 7 places in Punjab today in protest against the action of the Haryana Police against protesting farmers. According to ABP News sources, the protest is set to take place between 12 PM to 4 PM. Meanwhile, a third round of talks between farmers and the government will take place in Chandigarh today. The meeting will be held at 5 pm in Chandigarh.
Thousands of farmers are present on the borders of Punjab and Haryana to continue the protest march. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha has stated that all toll plazas in Punjab will be free from 11 am to 2 pm, according to sources.
