Ex-Assam Congress Chief Bhupen Kumar Borah Formally Joins BJP In Guwahati Ahead Of Polls

Former Assam Congress Chief Bhupen Kumar Borah has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party’s Assam headquarters in Guwahati.

Along with Bora, young Congress leaders, including Sanju Baruah and Sarbanarayan Deori, also joined the BJP in the presence of Assam BJP chief Dilip Saikia.

The development comes as the 126-member Assam Assembly is set to undergo assembly polls later this year.
