Election Commission Begins Training BLOs In Bengal For Special Voter List Revision

A three-day training programme for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) on the Special Intensive Revision exercise is under way in all five Assembly segments of Dharmapuri district. The training that commenced on Friday will continue till November 3.

The training for the BLOs for Dharmapuri constituency is held at the Adhiyaman Government Boys Higher Secondary School; for Palacode at Vidya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School; for Pennagaram at Jayam Mahal and Jayam College in Nallanur; for Paapireddipatty at AMG Matriculation school; for Harur at Government Girls Higher Secondary School. Over 1,500 BLOs of the five Assembly constituencies are being trained.

Collector R.Sadheesh supervised the training at Adhiyam Government Boys Higher Secondary School and instructed the BLOs to ensure no eligible voter is excluded and no ineligible voter is included in the rolls.
