Crew box office collection Day 1 early estimates: Kareena, Tabu, Kriti Sanon’s film eyeing Rs 35 cr opening weekend

Crew Box Office Collection Day 1: Crew starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon has finally released in the theatres on March 29, 2024. The heist comedy directed by Rajesh A Krishnan has kicked off to a good start on its opening day. Alongside the 3 leading ladies, the film also boasts Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and comedy king Kapil Sharma.

According to a report in Sacilk.com, the film earned Rs 8.75 crore at the domestic box office on Day 1. In comparison to Kareena Kapoor’s previous chic flick, Veer Di Wedding, produced by the same makers- Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, Crew did not match the opening day box office numbers. However, despite this, the film has garnered favourable reviews from the audience.

On its first day, Crew had an occupancy of 13.93 per cent during the morning shows. It increased to over 28 per cent and then to 39 per cent during the evening and night shows respectively. The film also witnessed the maximum audience in theatres located in Chennai, closely followed by Bengaluru and Hyderabad, reflecting a promising start in key metropolitan areas.
