CNN Founder And Philanthropist Ted Turner Dies At 87

Ted Turner, the media pioneer who founded CNN and transformed television news with the world’s first 24-hour channel, died peacefully on Wednesday, Turner Enterprises said in a statement. He was 87 and was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.
