CNN, MS NOW, Politico to sue Trump administration over White House access

Media brands including CNN, MS NOW and POLITICO have taken legal action against the Donald Trump administration after journalists from the three news organisations were denied entry to the White House and had their press credentials deactivated.

The three outlets said the move raises serious concerns about press freedom and the government's role in deciding which journalists can cover the US President.

The controversy arose following Trump's declaration that CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO would no longer be able to access the White House premises.
