Classmates to be Indian Army, Navy chiefs for first time in military history

Two classmates will be service chiefs of the Indian Army and the Navy for the first time in Indian military history.

Army Chief Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi studied together in Class 5 during the 1970s at Sainik School in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa.

While they were studying in Class 5A, their roll numbers were 931 and 938 respectively, news agency ANI reported.
