Centre orders Delhi Gymkhana Club to vacate premises by June 5

The Delhi Gymkhana Club must vacate its 27.3-acre Lutyens' Delhi land by June 5. The government requires the prime location for defence infrastructure and security. The Land and Development Office issued the order, determining the lease. Possession will be taken on June 5. Non-compliance will result in legal action. The club, established in 1913, is in a strategic zone.
