AstraZeneca says Covid vaccine can have rare side effect

AstraZeneca has stated in legal papers that its Covid vaccine has the potential to result in an uncommon side effect, according to a report by the UK’s Daily Telegraph newspaper. The pharmaceutical giant's statement comes as it faces a lawsuit for over £100 million (approximately Rs 1,000 crore) in a class action. The lawsuit claims that its vaccine caused death and serious injury in 51 cases.
