Fugitive Nirav Modis Brother, Nehal Modi, Arrested In US Based On Indias Extradition Request

Nehal Modi, the younger brother of fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi, was arrested in the US on Saturday, July 5, upon extradition request from the CBI and ED, according to reports.

Sources said that Nehal’s arrest came on charges of defrauding LLD Diamonds USA—one of the world’s largest diamond companies—of over $2.6 million (approximately Rs 19 crore) through a complex, multi-layered scheme.
