As Rahul Gandhi jokes about marriage plans, Lalu Yadav remains potential matchmaker

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday shared a light-hearted exchange during a joint press conference in Bihar’s Araria, while also asserting the INDIA bloc’s unity ahead of the assembly polls.

Tejashwi advised LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan to consider marriage. “Chirag Paswan ko salah denge ki wo ab shaadi kar lein wo mere bade bhai hain” (We will advise Chirag Paswan to get married now he is my elder brother), Yadav said.

Rahul Gandhi immediately responded, “Ye to mere upar bhi applicable hota hai” (This applies to me as well).
