Anna Hazare admitted to Bombay Hospital

Social activist Anna Hazare was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Monday after falling ill with a viral infection, severe dehydration and kidney-related problems.

Hazare was taken to Bombay Hospital in a cardiac ambulance from his village, accompanied by his caretakers. He is currently in the ICU and is being treated under Dr Gautam Bhansali.

Doctors are conducting a series of tests to assess his condition. Dr Bhansali said the next steps in Hazare's treatment would be decided once the test results are available.
