Andre Russell and Venkatesh Iyer discuss the run-out goof-up

Venkatesh Iyer discussed the run-out goof-up along with KKR teammate Andre Russell, where KKR CEO Venky Mysore and MI's Suryakumar Yadav were also present. Four of them were analysing Russell's run-out and Venkatesh was giving his justification regarding the mis-communication. KKR ended their 12-year jinx at the Wankhede Stadium as they registered a 24-run win against MI on May 3, Friday.

KKR released a special video where the players along with coach Chandrakant engaged in a deep discussion regarding the run-out. In the video, Russell explained Venkatesh turning his back after hitting the shot. Venkatesh reasoned that his back was turned and suddenly he spotted Russell near him.

To which, Venky Mysore said that Venkatesh was almost on his knees after hitting the shot. Suryakumar was also quick to add that Venkatesh had turned a lot. To which, Venkatesh responded in Hindi that Russell usually never ran this fast, as much as he did while taking the run. Suryakumar pulled Venkatesh's leg by translating his words to Russell in a bit twisted fashion. He told Russell that Venkatesh was calling him usually slow and today he ran fast.
