One of the accused in the Salman Khan firing case tried to die by suicide, Mumbai Police said on Wednesday.
According to the police, Thapan tried to end his life in police custody. After the incident, he was rushed to Mumbai's GT Hospital where his condition remains critical.
"One of the accused in DCB CID CR No 39/2024, namely Anuj Thapan, has reportedly attempted suicide. He has been admitted to Hospital," Mumbai Police said on Wednesday.
