The moment occurred during the cricket talk show Game On Hai, where Akhtar was discussing Pakistan’s strategy. He mistakenly said, “If Pakistan dismisses Abhishek Bachchan early, what will happen to the middle order? Their middle order isn’t performing well.”

Akhtar’s gaffe caused laughter among the show’s host and other guests. It was later clarified that Akhtar was referring to Abhishek Sharma, who has scored consecutive half-centuries in the tournament.
