In an interview with entertainment news channel Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan, Abhineet Kaushik shared that Aditi Sharma chose to keep their marriage a secret for her career. He mentioned that Aditi believed that marriage is considered to be a taboo in her career and it would hamper her growth. She told him that even if she gets work after marriage, she will get low-budget projects. "Being her partner, I always supported her in what she said, hence we kept it a secret," he added.
