A 133-year-old overhead water tank at Burdwan railway station came crashing down on the shade between platforms 2 and 3 on Wednesday, which collapsed under the impact, killing three persons and injuring 27 others. The incident disrupted train movement between platforms 1 and 4 for an hour. Railway authorities have set up a three-member inquiry team to probe the collapse.
