Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan reunite for upcoming Mr Lele; film will release on 1 January, 2021

Yesterday, Karan Johar announced that Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan will be collaborating for the third time now. And no, this is not for the Dulhania franchise. This time it's a quirky comedy called Mr. Lele. Announcing the same on their social handle, Dharma Productions wrote, "The dream team is back and they are bound to bring in 2021 with another round of an epic entertainer!?

Presenting @Varun_dvn in and as #MrLele, releasing 1st Jan, 2021! There are more members to this family coming soon! @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @ShashankKhaitan." In the poster, we see Varun Dhawan only in his undergarments with a gun in his hand and a comedy expression on his face. Have a look at their Tweet here:

Coming back to the film, Mr. Lele, apart from Varun Dhawan, it also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. It was earlier said that Kiara Advani of Kabir Singh fame was to star in the film but citing date issues, the Good Newwz actress walked out of the project. The quirky comedy narrates the story of three protagonists who are involved in the mysterious incident that leads to some hilarious situations.
