Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Dhanush to shoot Atrangi Re in Madurai and Bihar

Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Dhanush have come together for Aanand L Rai's upcoming film Atrangi Re. While Sara and Dhanush are all set to kick off the film, Akshay will join the cast of Atrangi Re in mid-April.

In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, Aanand, who is directing Atrangi Re, revealed that the film will be shot in Bihar and Madurai. He said, "It's a great mix of two Indian cultures. We start shooting in a town in Bihar and move to Madurai after that. Now you know which cultures I’m talking about."

Earlier, rumours were doing rounds that Akshay only has a cameo in the film. Refuting all such rumours, Aanand said, "It’s not a cameo, but a very special character that is important to the narrative."
