Man Accused Of Raping 6-Year-Old Girl In UP's Hapur Arrested

Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday arrested the man accused of kidnapping and brutally raping a six-year-old girl in western Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur.

The arrest comes more than a week after the minor girl was kidnapped and raped. The state police team that has nabbed the accused man is expected to share more details in a press conference later in the day.

The girl was kidnapped by a bike-borne assailant on Thursday (August 6) evening when she was playing outside her house in Garhmukteshwar Kotwali area of Hapur. She was found critical condition after the accused her left her to die in a field.
