Tickets for the largest-ever T20 World CupWorld CupWorld Cup 2024, featuring 20 selected teams worldwide, are now on sale. What distinguishes this ticket sale is its use of a public ticket ballot system instead of a first-come-first-serve basis. This approach ensures that common fans have an equal chance to secure tickets for the marquee event. T20 World Cup 2024, the biggest edition yet, with an unprecedented 55 matches will be jointly hosted by America (3 cities) and West Indies (6 cities).
The booking of tickets for the T20 World Cup 2024 will continue until February 7th this year. Fans can book their tickets by visiting the t20worldcup.com website. Scheduled between June 1st and 29th, the T20 World Cup will feature group stage matches, Super-8, and semi-finals, with over 2.60 lakh tickets already issued. Ticket prices vary according to different categories.
According to ICC rules, an individual can purchase a maximum of 6 tickets for a match (from one ID), allowing them to book tickets for any number of matches. The price of the lowest priced ticket has been set at a minimum of 6 dollars (approximately Rs 500). More than 2.60 lakh tickets have already been issued for the group stage, Super-8, and semi-finals.
