Businessman Robert Vadra, accused in a money laundering case, has been allowed by a Delhi court to travel abroad for six weeks for treatment of an illness. The court told Mr Vadra to give his travel schedule and to return to India before the deadline.

He has been allowed to go to the US and the Netherlands, but not to Britain. Mr Vadra's counsel KTS Tulsi said the businessman will not go to London if the Enforcement Directorate, which is probing the alleged money laundering case against him, had an objection, news agency PTI reported.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta and advocate Nitesh Rana, appearing for the probe agency, opposed Mr Vadra's plea in which he had sought permission to travel to the UK and other countries citing health reasons.
