Bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal dies at 80 in Delhi

Singer Narendra Chanchal, acclaimed for his hymns and religious songs, died at a hospital in Delhi on January 22. He was 80. Renowned for his bhajans, Narendra Chanchal breathed his last today afternoon at 12:15pm.

Punjab Kesari reports that Narendra Chanchal was not keeping well and was receiving treatment since the past three months.

On Twitter, Sufi singer Master Saleem and cricketer Harbhajan Singh paid their last respects to Narendra Chanchal and remembered the "iconic" singer.
