2 sisters found living with mother’s corpse for year in UP’s Varanasi, detained

Two sisters in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi district were found living with the corpse of their mother, who had died around a year ago, in their house in the city's Madarwa area.

The incident came to light when the neighbours of the girls did not see them for a few days and also found their house's door closed. Raising the alarm, they informed the girl's relatives, who reached their home and informed the police about the incident.

The police reached the home and recovered the woman's body and also found the two girls sitting next to the body.
