Woman dead, 23 injured as DTC bus rams into metro pillar in west Delhi

DTC Bus Accident: A woman was killed while 34 others sustained injuries when a DTC bus they were travelling in crashed into a pillar near the Shivaji Park metro station in west Delhi on Monday morning. According to the police, a call regarding the accident was received by the Punjab Bagh police station at 7:42 AM.
An official said a DTC electric bus, plying on the Mangolpuri-Anand Vihar Bus Terminal route, crashed into the metro pillar, adding that an autorickshaw rammed into the bus from behind when the DTC driver suddenly applied the brakes.
A woman was killed and 34 other people, including the driver and conductor of the DTC bus, were injured in the mishap, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vichitra Veer.
