Who is Saransh Jain? The 33-year-old who finally earned an India Test call-up

Team India is all set to take on Sri Lanka in the upcoming two tests series. Under the leadership of Shubman Gill, a 15-member squad has been announced for the Sri Lanka series starting August 15. This time, fans will see a new face, Saransh Jain, joining Team India. 33-year-old Saransh Jain earned his India call for being consistent performer in domestic cricket.

Saransh Jain is an all-rounder hailing from Madhya Pradesh, who has proved himself with bat and ball both in past and now will look forward to represent the national side.

Washington Sundar has also been included in the squad, but fitness is a big concern ahead of his participation. Sundar is recovering from a hamstring injury. If Sundar, doesn't get fit ahead of the match then Saransh Jain may replace him in the playing XI.
