West Bengal SIR Final Electoral Roll To Be Published Today, Over 7 Crore Voters On Revised List

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday published the final electoral roll for West Bengal following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.

According to West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Agarwal, a total of 63,66,952- sixty three lakh sixty six thousand nine hundred and fifty two voters have been deleted from the final list. Meanwhile, 1,82,036 voters were added under Form 6 and 6A, and another 6,671 voters were included through Form 8.

Following the second phase of the SIR process, the total number of registered voters in the state now stands at 7,04,59,284.
