Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 131.55 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 536 cusecs and a discharge of 800 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the water level was 62.66 ft. (71 ft.) with an inflow of 468 cusecs and a discharge of 969 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 7,310.14 mcft. Mullaperiyar dam recorded 8.6 mm of rainfall and Thekkadi 2 mm in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Monday.
