The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to their official social media handles to share an emotional video of Rahul Dravid delivering a heartfelt farewell speech in the Indian dressing room after the victorious T20 World Cup campaign in Barbados. Dravid also thanked Rohit Sharma for convincing him to continue as India head coach after the ODI World Cup 2023 defeat.
Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India defeated South Africa by seven runs to win the final of the T20 World Cup, as they clinched an ICC trophy after 11 long years. This also marked the end of 13-year World Cup trophy drought for the Men in Blue. In the video shared by the BCCI, Rahul Dravid thanks everyone involved in the journey of the team and expresses that he is proud of each and every one.
