Aryna Sabalenka celebrated her US Open title defence in style. After beating Amanda Anisimova in a tough 1 hour, 34-minute battle, Sabalenka proceeded to play out a champagne-spraying war with her team. The video of the hilarious incident was captured by the tournament's official social media handle.

Sabalenka, who had not won any Grand Slams this season, breathed a sigh of relief after beating USA's Anisimova. The US star had beaten Iga Swiatek in the semi-final and gave Sabalenka a run for her money in the summit clash.

The Belarusian has not missed a hardcourt major final since 2022. Her latest trophy brings her Grand Slam haul to four, as she became the first woman to win back-to-back US Opens since Serena Williams claimed three straight from 2012 to 2014.
