A war of words erupted between Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the controversial use of bulldozers to bring down illegal structures associated with people accused of crimes in the state.
Speaking to party workers at the Samajwadi Party office, Akhilesh Yadav questioned the legality of the Chief Minister’s residence, asking, “Has the map for the CM’s residence been approved? They misuse bulldozers for personal gain. Bulldozers have no brain, only a steering wheel”.
Yadav went on to say that "bulldozers will move to" Yogi Adtiyanath's bastion of Gorakhpur after the 2027 elections once the Samajwadi Party comes to power.
