New Delhi: Ravichandran Ashwin is not pleased with Rishabh Pant’s choice to abandon a run-out appeal against RCB stand-in captain Jitesh Sharma at the non-strikers during Tuesday’s match, calling it an insult towards the bowler, who can feel tiny and wounded.
In the 17th over of the match on Tuesday in RCB’s nail-biting chase, LSG’s Digvesh Rathi removed the bails after noticing that Jitesh had vacated the crease at the non-batting end.
The replays indicated though the batter was out of the crease, the decision was rejected as the bowler had run through his delivery stride.
