Vinesh Phogat, the wrestler-turned-politician, has opted for a cash prize after the Haryana government recently offered her benefits equivalent to an Olympic silver medallist, asking her to choose from various options. According to news agency PTI, Phogat was disqualified from the 2024 Paris Olympics for being overweight ahead of her gold medal bout in the 50-kg category.
