Uttarakhand MLA & predecessor gun for each other, bullets fly

A long-standing feud between Independent MLA from Khanpur Umesh Kumar and BJP MLA from Laksar Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion took a violent turn on Sunday when the latter reached the former’s officer and started firing from the pistol and throwing stones in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

The entire incident was recorded in a video which soon went viral on the social media platforms. In the video, Champion and his supporters were seen creating a ruckus at the office of Kumar.

They were seen firing several shots from pistols and hurling abuse and stones, reported PTI.

In a tit-for-tat, Kumar and his supporters also fired shots at the office of Champion.
