In an important meeting of the state cabinet that is currently underway at the residence auditorium of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the UCC report is being presented before the Cabinet under the chairmanship of the CM.
Following the approval of the report in the cabinet meeting, the UCC bill will be tabled in the Assembly on February 6.
The Pushkar Singh Dhami-led Uttarakhand government on Saturday held a cabinet meeting to discuss and approve the draft of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), which would make way for the BJP-ruled state to become the first in the country to adopt the UCC.
