By presenting her ninth budget in a row, Nirmala Sitharaman will almost near the record of former Prime Minister Morarji Desai, who holds the record for the most budgets presented (10).

Since 2019, Nirmala Sitharaman has consistently delivered budgets, with six full budgets and three interim ones. At present, she is the only Finance Minister in India to have such a long, continuous run.

Previous year, she surpassed famous finance ministers like Manmohan Singh and Arun Jaitley, who all presented six budgets.
