Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the Union Budget 2024, announced ₹15,000 crore for Andhra Pradesh for the development of its new capital. In her Budget speech in the Lok Sabha, FM Sitharaman said that the Centre will facilitate special financial support through multilateral agencies to the state for the capital development project.
