India CPI Inflation In October 2025: India’s retail inflation cooled sharply to 0.25% in October 2025, marking the lowest level in the current Consumer Price Index (CPI) series, according to data released by the National Statistics Office (NSO) on Tuesday. It is the lowest year-on-year inflation of the current CPI series.

The latest figures reflect a significant 119-basis-point drop from September’s 1.44%, driven by a broad-based decline in food prices and the impact of recent GST rate reductions.
